Sinan Orakçı (1995, Bitlis,TR) graduated from the Painting - Teacher Education in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University. He shapes his works by looking inward rather than outward. This perspective often invites the viewer into a psychosis. He constructs his works using Freud’s free association technique, trying to project the events and traumas he has experienced from early childhood to today. In response to the noise and pace of the chaotic city he lives in, he builds his paintings as a refuge. Although he appears alone and disconnected from the world in this ivory tower, the subject of his works is human-centric. In these dark, almost cosmic paintings, humans are so thinned out as to be invisible. Objects emerging from this dark mist create a symbolism representing the essence of humanity.
