Gizem Çeşmeci was born in Bursa, Turkey in 1989. She has studied with Aydın Ayan and Mustafa Orkun Müftüoğlu at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University where the artist graduated from BA with honors degree. She was awarded third place for “Sakıp Sabancı Art Awards”. The artist has participated in numerous international mixed exhibitions. She has completed her M.A degree in Anadolu University Fine Arts Graduate School Department of Painting.
