Hüseyin Aksoy, who uses narrative and time zones in his style, describes the disappearance of place, history and memory in his works and proposes the concepts of 'counter-history' and 'counter-memory' as an intervention to this description. In his artistic production, he comes to terms with the issue of making the invisible visible through people's multiple perspectives on geography, by centered on social problems. In the Mesopotamia Series, he includes new building descriptions in which he synthesizes the structures existing in the past with the structures existing today. The artist uses a mixture of pigment paint consisting of soil types of the region and German walnut paint in his paintings.
