Dilek Yaman (1985, Bursa) graduated from the Department of Photography at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Marmara University. Her artistic practice centers on themes of migration, belonging, family, and home, aiming to make processes of memory and healing visible through photography-based narratives. Her first solo exhibition, In Dreams We Unite (2024), !s a journey through the intersections of personal and collective memory, bringing the past and present together in the immediacy of the “now.” The exhibition evokes the universal resonances of individual stories and invites viewers to reflect on their own search for identity and belonging. 

Yaman’s work captures the essence of place and moment, blending collective memory with personal experience. She uses photography both as an archival tool and a practice of remembrance, striving to create a universal dialogue about the shared conditions of being human.
