Ünal Bostancı
Ünal Bostancı, İstanbul’da yaşıyor ve çalışıyor. Bostancı enstalasyonlar, heykeller ve karışık medya sanat çalışmaları yapar. Daha kapsayıcı toplumlara ulaşmayı hedefleyerek, izleyiciyi yeni kişisel bağlantılar kurmaya teşvik eden, öznel çağrışımlara ve biçimsel paralelliklere dayalı formlar geliştirir. Ortak bellek algısıyla oynarken, kimlik, toplumsal cinsiyet ifadesi ve ideoloji gibi konuların önemli rol oynadığı bir atmosferde, birbiriyle örtüşen çeşitli tema ve stratejilere dayalı içerikler üretir.
Ünal Bostancı lives and works in Istanbul. Bostancı creates installations, sculptures, and mixed media artworks. Aiming to reach more inclusive societies, it develops forms based on subjective associations and formal parallels that encourage the viewer to make new personal connections. While playing with the perception of collective memory, it produces content based on various overlapping themes and strategies in an atmosphere where issues such as identity, gender expression, and ideology play a substantial role.
